Funniest moment of the day.
Today was an unusually good day. The 2:30 1-2 class had some of the most devious and tactically brilliant bingo moves I've seen in the 8 months I've been teaching. My D4 class was screaming with the right kind of crazy and excitement. My chronically troublesome 2-3 class manned up today for 5o minutes of some of the most intense listen, repeat, question and answer I've dished out. Yet the funniest moment came from 5:30's 4-2 class. One of the questions on the bingo sheet was "what is a lie?." The answer is to specifically explain what the word using the English they know. The students hmm'd ha'd and babbled on and on. What they were saying made sense, but it wasnt specific. Finally, Solomon, a student with a talent for speaking fast, said "A lie is say something wrong and Jesus is angry."
